My Parents' Video Rental Logbook # 1

In 2010, I found a notebook of my parents' in which they had logged and rated every video they rented out in the 80s and 90s. I made it a project to watch and review every horror film listed inside it, printing their original rating alongside my own using their rating system.

In this first issue of the spin-off fanzine from Necronomicon, I have compiled the reviews I have written in Necro over the last 14 years, of the first 39 horror films listed in my parents video rental logbook.

Many reviews are from issues now out of print, but they have been edited and added to, plus there are some brand new reviews and an opening essay about the project.

The issue has 58 A5 black and white pages with some colour pages featuring pages from my parents' logbook. It has a full colour card cover imitating the original logbook.

This spin-off zine will run for approximately 7 issues, in the same format of this first issue.
